These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding contract between you and [OPERATOR ENTITY] ("WordBonk"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use WordBonk.
You must be at least 16 years old (or older, if your country requires a higher age) to use WordBonk. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Keep your details accurate and up to date. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
You keep ownership of the content you create (cards, notes, messages, uploads). You grant WordBonk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service, including any sharing you choose to initiate with friends, teachers or the community. You warrant that you have all rights needed for the content you upload, including any books or images.
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you will not upload content you do not have the rights to, post unlawful, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative material, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, attempt to breach security, scrape or abuse the API, or use WordBonk to harm minors.
AI output is generated automatically, may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate, and is not professional, medical, legal, financial or certified-educational advice. You use it at your own risk. See the AI & Content Disclaimer.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can report abusive content or users via the in-app report control or [abuse@wordbonk.app]; we operate a notice-and-action process and will act on valid reports.
The Service integrates third parties (AI, dictionary, video, email) as described in the Privacy Policy. Their terms may also apply to your use of those features.
[If/when offered] paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Price, billing cadence, cancellation and refund/withdrawal rights are disclosed at purchase. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and are subject to their refund policies.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections on content licence, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and disputes survive termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordBonk disclaims implied warranties and limits its aggregate liability to [the greater of the amounts you paid in the prior 12 months or USD 100]. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION]. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected. [Optional: arbitration / small-claims carve-out.]
